For anyone else that has this issue...

Go to: http://learn.turtlebot.com/2015/02/01/8/

Scroll down to "Troubleshooting". From there make sure you following the instructions on:

Installing the driver
Disable USB 3.0 via the BIOS (a little farther down the page)

This will fix most of the problems related to Kinect not working.
