This question has been answered by NooTriX. In the VirtualBox ROS environment, configuration is not required. Just type:
sudo apt-get update
and then
sudo apt-get install ros-fuerte-turtlebot-simulator

This question has been answered by NooTriX. In the VirtualBox ROS environment, Using their OVA, configuration is not required. Just type:
sudo apt-get update
download and theninstall all the updates, and then type
sudo apt-get install ros-fuerte-turtlebot-simulator
Simple!!!
