I have festival installed. I have festival-dev installed. I can not fulfill all the deps for sound_play because the subject error is all I get. How can I go about fixing this?

Edit: It was pointed out that I also need festvox-kallpc16k, which I just verified that I do, and still have the issue.

Do you also have the `festvox-kallpc16k` package installed? The festival rosdep needs that package installed as well.

Just verified that I do. No luck still.

Please provide the actual console output fo the error. I think that your problem is that there may not be a natty rule in your rosdep.yaml files for festival, but cannot know without the actual error message.

Without an error message it's hard to say what failed. It sounds like you need the rosdep definition for natty defined for festival. See the [rosdep wiki page](http://www.ros.org/wiki/rosdep)

I also get the same error when I do rosdep satisfy sound_play |sh or something. rosmake output also prints the same error but finishes without errors, yielding message files generated. By then, I managed to use sound_play. This isn't answering to your "how to fix rosdep errors" question but HTH.
