getting started with a roomba
Hello guys,
to revive the question again since the last answer I could find is more than 2 years old. So I have bought a roomba (531) for myself and I have a serial to usb cable that fits. But now I don t know how to continue. Since I have been only been installing ros stacks through "sudo apt-get install ros-*-" or directly downloading the package and then putting it into my catkin workspace. Is there a way for a noob like me to get to control my roomba with those methods I have just mentioned?
By the way I am running ubuntu 14.04 with ros indigo (probably not the best idea)
