use a simulated Sicklms200 sensor with ros and gazebo (maybe Player/stage) [closed]
Hello,
I'm trying to instantiate a robot (anyone would do it for now) in ROS/Gazebo with a simulated Sicklms200 laser. Problem is I didn't find how to attach the lms200 to the robot, and I need this to be handled by ros, still I didn't also find a way to use the sicklms node in ros without having the sensor plugged in (which I don't have for now since i'm only simulating)
I found that Player offer this possibility (simulating a Sick sensor) but I don't know if it can work with both ROS & Gazebo.
Any suggestion/help would be appreciated !
