gazebo gui start - segmentation fault
Hi, I am trying to run the gazebo simulation for the clearpath jackal robot. I have installed ros indigo on ubuntu 14.04. My laptop, however, is old and has an intel centrino (dual core) processor. I dont know if that is making a difference but the gazebo simulation does not start after I do: "roslaunch jackal_gazebo jackal_world.launch".
I get an error saying: [gazebo_gui-3] process has died [pid 6035, exit code 139, cmd /opt/ros/indigo/stacks/simulator_gazebo/gazebo/scripts/gui __name:=gazebo_gui __log:=<home>/.ros/log/741af39e-2cb9-11e3-b8e5-002564043504/gazebo_gui-3.log]. log file: /<home>/.ros/log/741af39e-2cb9-11e3-b8e5-002564043504/gazebo_gui-3*.log
When I installed ros indigo for jackal, I had trouble with the controller manager spawning. It seemed that the ros gazebo package was not found. I then installed the gazebo package for indigo. I then started to see the controller manager process starting, however, I then had the segmentation fault.
Please help and advise.
