Fps drops during rosbag record and play back
Hi I am a research intern and facing an issue of Fps drop during rosbag record and playback (camera image topic, point cloud topic, and camera info topic ). I have connected my ouster lidar os1-64 and hikvision IP camera to the IP switch and the IP switch is connected to a local host(Linux laptop). My setup is on the local network. Now why this issue of Fps drop is occurring? When I used the USB camera and ouster lidar combination that is directly connected to my laptop then Fps drop is not happening. So kindly tell me why is it happening? I am new to ros. Thank you very much.
I believe it would help (others, not necessarily me) if you could explain what "slow" means.
That's probably very clear for you, but you don't describe what you observe nor what you expected to happen, so it's unclear for us here.
Sounds like a network bandwidth issue. Can you please provide the following information? 1. Image size and published rate 2. Point cloud size and published rate 3. Network bandwidth (are you using 100 mbps or 1000 mbps ethernet?)
