apt-get install ros-fuerte-desktop-full gives dependency error.

$ sudo apt-get install ros-fuerte-desktop-full

I'm using following Linux.

Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS Release: 12.04 Codename: precise

edit retag flag offensive close merge delete

I did $ sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get update, but same.

Do following to regenerate (reinstall) all apt packages.

dpkg --get-selections | awk '$2=="install" {
    system ("sudo apt-get install -y --reinstall " $1)
}'
edit flag offensive delete link more

1] run the command sudo software-properties-gtk

2] change your server to main

3] continue your fuerte installation
