How does micro-ros resync their nuttx fork with mainline?

We are looking at using micro-ros and I was trying to build code today. Ran into a build issue for the STM32H7 and after finding the fix checked against nuttx mainline where the issue was fixed around April 2019.

Would anyone be able to comment on how micro-ros resyncs against nuttx mainline? I haven't been able to find that info on the micro-ros site or via googling.

A bit of a lame response, but what did the developers say when you posted on their issue tracker?

The chances of a Micro-ROS developer seeing your question here on ROS Answers are rather slim.

Hi from the micro-ROS team and sorry for the late reply. We've been leaving some questions unanswered, but we'll retake it from here and try to give quick technical support to the ROS answers users from now on.

Regarding your question, we haven't been syncing with the NuttX mainline since spring 2019 for technical decisions. However, we've recently decided to re-align with it soon (before the Galactic release, likely). We'll be posting an announcement on the ROS discourse, embedded category, when the time comes.
