Hello,

I was wondering why the rosjava implementation of actionlib is not included in the latest rosjava revision anymore? Back in April it was still part of the repository and I would like to ask, if anyone knows whether actionlib will be supported (again) in the future or not?

Best Regards,

Sebastian

There were some major changes to rosjava that broke the existing implementation of actionlib. The intent was always to rewrite the existing rosjava actionlib anyway so the old version was removed pending an eventual rewrite.

Hi,

What is the last working version of rosjava + actionlib? I'm trying to install the Android development environment for ROS and it requires actionlib_java.

Following the instructions here: http://www.ros.org/wiki/ApplicationsPlatform/Clients/Android/ with the listed troubleshooting versions of rosjava results in missing Android SDK classes. I'm looking for a combination of the Android tools and rosjava that will play well together. (I'm on Ubuntu Lucid and using ROS Electric.)

Thanks -Caroline

Please don't post additional questions as answers. Use the comments section. I'm unsure what revision will allow you to use actionlib. I suggest going with the previous debian release if you can dig it up (rosjava is no longer released via debs).
