EKF for robot poses

Hello,
As per my understanding, the robot_pose_ekf package can be used to merge 2D pose + IMU + 3D pose, but I want an EKF for two sources of 3D pose. Can robot_pose_ekf be used for this or is there any other package that would be better suited?

robot_localization is my go-to for EKF related business in the ROS world. It is a silent workhose which has been excellent as long as I have used it. Hope you find better luck there.
