I work for the Open Source Robotics Foundation as a core ROS developer. I wrote and maintain the bloom release tool, and I also wrote the majority of the catkin_make_isolated command. I spend most of my time putting out fires and fixing packages which need attention.
I did my research in robotics for my Master degree in Software Engineering at Auburn University. Then I worked for Willow Garage on the ROS team for about six months before moving to OSRF with some of the other ROS developers.
